What we process and why

Booking requests

Name, e-mail, phone, dates, number of guests and your message — to answer your request, confirm the booking and arrange your stay. Legal basis: steps before entering into a contract and its performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Messages

Name, e-mail and your message from the contact form — to reply to you. Legal basis: steps before entering into a contract at your request, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Your stay

On arrival, Czech law requires us to record certain details of our guests (the guest register, the local accommodation fee and, for foreign guests, registration with the foreign police). Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Technical data

When you visit the website, the server processes your IP address and basic details of the request to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep requests and messages only as long as we need to handle them and any follow-up questions. Details of concluded bookings and of your stay are kept for the periods set by Czech accounting, tax and accommodation laws.

Services that receive data

We share data only with services we need to run the website and handle your booking:

Hosting provider

Runs the website and stores booking requests and messages on our server.

Google (Gmail)

Our e-mail service: booking requests and messages reach us, and our replies reach you, through it. Google may process data in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

OpenFreeMap

Supplies the map images. When you view a map, your browser loads them directly from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address.

Czech National Bank

Our server downloads the reference exchange rates for prices in other currencies from it. No data about you is sent.

Links to Google Maps, booking platforms and social networks take you to those services; their own privacy policies apply there.

We store only what keeps the website working. These items need no consent:
